Swedish Linedance Week in Malung – Sweden’s coziest dance week! Six days filled with linedance classes for all levels, social dancing, and themed parties, in the beautiful Orrskogen area.

The event takes place on four dance floors in beautiful Orrskogen, Dalarna. All floors have excellent wooden surfaces and are covered.
Classes are held every day In the evenings we have social dancing and enjoyable activities.
Roy Verdonk is coming to the Linedance Week!
Roy Verdonk was the first world champion in line dancing, achieving this title in 1997 at the Disney Hotel in Anaheim, Los Angeles. There, he left the best dancers from around the world in his wake and has since left his mark on the line dance scene.
Roy has trained many world champions worldwide, and they come from far and wide to receive technical training from him.
Besides a theater show he co-choreographed with the renowned Barry Stevens, he still teaches daily at his dance school, the Dutch Dance Academy in Oudenbosch, the Netherlands.
After nearly 30 years in the business, he remains a welcome guest at various major events worldwide, from Paris to Las Vegas!

Meet Tara Bianco - inspiring teacher at the Linedance Week!
Tara started dancing at the age of three. She has trained in several different dance styles and loves linedance and the country lifestyle.
Tara is an experienced instructor who has also created popular linedance choreographies, such as “HonkyTonk Floors,” “Shoot Tequila,” and “Welcome to the Show” – all award-winning at the UCWDC Worlds.
She lives in Texas and will teach at the Swedish Linedance Week!
About Happy Dance
Happy Dance is a Swedish dance company run by Erika Lundby Israelsson, certified dance instructor and PhD in Social Work, together with her team.
We offer dance courses, events, and trips where joy, community, and well-being are always at the center. Our core values are engagement, quality, and safety – three guiding principles that permeate everything we do.
We believe in creating an environment where participants are encouraged, supported, and given the opportunity to develop at their own pace.
Our ambition is for every dance session to be a safe space where you feel welcome, seen, and inspired – whether you are a beginner or an experienced dancer.
We organize, among other things, the Swedish Linedance Week in Malung, dance trips, and various themed events, and we collaborate with experienced dance instructors who share our passion for both the joy of dance and people’s well-being.
